Why I love Sims and Editing Sim pics.
May 3, 2007I was really thinking today about just how much I love taking pics of my sims and frankensteining them into a vision in my mind. I think it all stems from being a little girl and dressing up my Barbies and other dolls. I used to spend hours just brushing all of their hair, washing them up and sewing clothes for them. I had just as much fun doing this as I did brewing up steamy plots and figuring out which Barbie wasn’t getting a date to her prom. My Barbies and dolls lead very scandalous lives believe me. I don’t even know how I knew what most of that stuff was since I didn’t know of it in real life. I didn’t have much as a kid, maybe that’s why I wanted to go to Grandma’s all the time and root through her material and sew clothes for my poor unfortunate little dollies!
Yep. I’m convinced this is why I insist on still “playing” the Sims even though I haven’t even PLAYED the game since January when I was still writing stories for my Legacy family. Which reminds me I’ve been neglecting those poor little guys for too many months!
As for a real update, today was the last official day of school for the semester…yesssssssssssssssssss. Now I have finals week next week to look forward to and then summer school gahhhh!
That’s so sweet. I think I play the sims is because well I have such an active imagination where I like to plan out some of the **Romantic** scenes I have in mind. I guess we all have a reason to play the sims.
Haha! Oh, me toooooo! I was such a Barbie freak, and mine as well lead rather scandalous lives. Back then, I would draw pictures of them a lot too. ^^ My other love was Legos, so I think The Sims is the ultimate combination of those two outlets.
I love playing with the sim selves of my friends, and picking out what they’d wear, and utterly ridiculous outfits they’d never be caught dead in.
And work on your Legacies Amanda! I used to check on them every day.
Haha, is that a subtle way of telling to get my butt in gear? Haha, just kidding. I know, I really want to work on them and now that next week is finals I should have time after that! I have prohibited myself from entering any more contests till I’m booted from HNTM 3, so that should at least give me a few hours a week to “legacy it up”. I have something pretty cool planned for the next chapter too, so hopefully I get around to it before I forget it!
